Not that we haven't enjoyed the unique opportunity for some winter weather here in the valley, it's just that we've been snowbound for over a week. Beautiful, yes. We'll have a white Christmas. But our house is not accessible without chains, the kids missed an entire week of school and there's been no electricity for the past three days. Leaving this...should we be able to get out as more and more travelers are stranded at the Portland Airport, seems more attractive every day.
Just received a voice mail from Kirsten... they have arrived safely in Ghana after a long trip. She sounded great and says everyone is is doing well. They are working on getting internet access and will update the blog as soon as they can. Send your good vibes their way!
